Expectations

Expectations cause sorrow, stop expecting things....ultimate path to happiness....

STOP THIS BULL CRAP I SAY.

If you can tell me how to stop expecting things, tell me NOW. Tell me how to go about it. Don't give me faltu ka sermons....As if it is so easy living life like a saint. I am a normal mortal boss.... Anyone who gives me I do not expect things from others and therefore I am content and stuff, I am gonna beat them to pulp....

Well, first, happy birthday!

And yes, it's human nature to have expectations. We can't help it. But people say that if we didn't have so many expectations then we won't be disappointed as often, and therefore be more happy. I don't know.

i think there is a vast difference in expecting from ones own self and expecting from others.i believe in the former coz i its time i started to look into my own life without anybody/anything to depend on.expecting is like being dependant on somebody/something.

Happy birthday :) Interesting that you want to know NOW how to stop expecting things.. and then warn that you'll beat anyone who tells you that to pulp :D

Anyway, who told you to stop having expectations? It IS bullcrap! How can you stop expecting anything to happen... how the *hell* would life work?

Oh, but wait - do you ever have *requirements* from people, things or life? Do you ever actually catch yourself saying that you're dependent on something outside of yourself to carry on? Because thats going to get you in trouble for sure.

Having expectations is like saying this is how I believe the world works... if that changes, its painful, but we move on. Having requirements is saying the slightest change in my model of the world, and everything crumbles...
