Being judgemental

I have always thought of myself as a non-judgemental person. I take my own sweet time to form opinions, they are not instant. However, few days back it just hit me how I have been judgemental in subtle ways, in ways I have not necessarily thought earlier. It hit me hard. I have always thought being judgemental is one of the most saddest trait one can possess. It hit me hard to realise that I have been judgemental too. Worst was when i realised that I have judged my loved ones. It's not a nice feeling.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately. I just realise how I have altered some decisions due to the constant pressure of being judged. Also, sometimes there is a small fear of being judged lurking around in the backgroundwhich prevents you from being completely open even to your closest friends. It's not a nice feeling. Damn....

being judgemental is a trait that comes naturally to humans. dont be too hard on urself about this. see it as a boon. sometimes being judgemental helps us escape tricky situations...
the art of not judging ppl and loved ones comes thru practice. but its always good to hav a few judgements...

Hey Shobha,

Take a chill pill. It seems u do not have good amount of work. There is nothing wrong in being judgemental. It helps us act better. Do some good work and things will fall in line.

You said it right. Being judgemental is wrong.

Never judge people because the way you judge, you will be judged by them.

So sad..We fear of getting judged by others! society is pathetic by birth.

Its so inherently human (to judge that is). I realised that any human quality (egoism, jealousy, anger) is bad only when used at the wrong place, to the wrong extent or at the wrong time or a combo of them. Don't feel bad, learn and move on!

Sometimes your own conscience can be your biggest enemy!

I can relate to how you feel

voiding judgement is impossible at some level. it is a double-edged sword. sometimes Acai Berry Scams u need to use it as a defence for urself, other times u should let go of it. but i think it balances out in some way or the other. and maybe it is a good thing then
