I really don't know what to type here. I'm just shocked completely after seeing the news bulletin of Benazir Bhutto's death. It's just so sad to see how unstable Pakistan is politically....
The turn of events is shocking, though hardly surprising, given the attack on her just after she returned to Pakistan in October. I think it's admirable that such leaders do their work with the full knowledge that something like this can happen at any time.
Well, I know this a tepid suggestion but read Ramesh Thakur's piece on The Hindu's edit page (Saturday). I haven't read it yet myself but I've read two others by him on Pakistan and they were quite informative.
